Transport

There are multiple transport options to and from the Blakes Crossing area.
Car
There is direct access from Blakes Crossing to the Adelaide CBD via Main North Road. Alternatively, access the Northern Expressway from Curtis Road's Kokoda Bridge ramp. This will allow city access via Port Wakefield Road.
Public Transport
Train:
Blakes Crossing is an easy journey by train from the Adelaide CBD on the Adelaide/Gawler Line, with the Smithfield interchange an easy 20 minute stroll away, or quick 2 minute car trip.
Bus - Community Update:
The 442 bus, run by Adelaide Metro, now regularly services the Blakes Crossing area, which is a great addition to the estate, connecting residents to many essential services in the area and beyond. Residents can now easily access the Smithfield and Elizabeth interchanges; Elizabeth, Craigmore and Munno Para shopping centres; as well as easy connections to Munno Para Station, train services and TAFE SA Elizabeth Campus.
The bus travels along Main Terrace, with stops near Woodhaven Village, the Village Centre and Burnlea Village. The bus runs on weekdays and weekends, with a weekday service approximately every half hour. Bus tickets can be bought at the Blakes Crossing Newsagency.
